For a second there I though I saw master Roshi

As there’s not much to say about it since it’s just 3:11 minutes long, I’ll add something like a critic of Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny.

First things first

If you wanted to see uncensored scenes of Kanu Unchou and Seito’s girls naked but all that the series did was teasing you, go and search this OVA, you’ll be completely amused. 3 minutes of complete ecchi fanservice, yes the entire 3 minutes, no kidding… well fine, just 2:41 of fanservice plus the ending. It was really good, I mean, I’m a guy and oh god knows how I wish for Kanu to exist, also, it is always well received this kind of fanservice, the kind of fanservice that doesn’t even have much to do with the plot, just raw, good fanservice.

BUT

I’m pretty disappointed, in comparison with the first season of Ikkitousen, this last one lacked a lot of things. I know that the plot of Ikkitousen wasn’t really “something” to begin with, just an average ecchi/shonen series, but the second season was poor even in that. Next to this, the quality of animation dropped drastically, heck, they even changed some of the original hair-colors! could it be that they spent too much money on having the master Satoshi Urushihara to make the ED sequence? maybe. Yes, this time they used Kanu almost at her full potential, same case with Kakouton who has always been my favorite male character of the series even when the first season only showed him as a side character, but giving more characters with potential a chance is not enough to make a good series, though.

Anyway, I’m not complaining, it was a good thing that this series had a second season, but it is disappointing that was in this kind of conditions, knowing that could be much better.
