In my humble opinion…

Love this series. The combination between romance and comedy is always well received by me, and in cases like this, when they’re used in such a cool way, i can only expect one thing: moar. I don’t know how to explain the kind of atmosphere that this series transpires, but if i were to chose one word to do so, that word would be “Fun”.

Risa and Otani make a good couple, hope that they end together. It’s more likely that that’s what will happen, but one never knows… ¿What if Otani goes for Seiko? just think about it.

Talking about that, i laughed so fuckin’ hard in ep 5 with all the trap issue. It was just too hilarious, specially when Otani remembers the kiss *laughs again* ooh… gawd. No need to say that was a total surprise for everyone, Seiko FTW! or should i say “Seishiro”? anyway. Aside from that, i like where things are going now that Risa finally decided to be more honest with herself about her feelings and accept that she likes Otani. No bad points at this moment, this show is fun to watch.

Oh and, there’s only one thing that i don’t like about this series, and that thing is Haruka, but even his existence is kindda acceptable.

LoveCom ep 1 quasi-summary

Koizumi Risa and Atsushi Otani. She’s pretty tall (1.70), he’s an ant (1.52), they’re the laughing stock of the school or at least of their classroom (being called All Hanshin-Kyoujin after a japanese comedy duo, one is short and the other is tall). She wants a boyfriends, he wants a girlfriend, but both of them have this complex about heights. Oh and they hate each other.

LoveCom ep 2 quasi-summary

Though they are always fighting, they don’t really hate each other, in fact, they are pretty similar and that’s the main reason of the fights. From here on we can see how Risa is starting to like Otani. An ex-girlfriend of him appears but in the end she wasn’t searching nothing important or interesting with Otani. Neeext.

Challengers… they always appear

They’re playing dumb, but at this point even their friends know that they make a good couple, but then this Haruka guy appears (he appears at the end of ep 2 but who cares) and ends telling to Risa that someday he’ll ask her to be her girlfriend. He was a childhood friend of Risa. Anyway, now she’s a little bit more aware of her feelings for Otani, and it’s so friggin’ obvious that Haruka knew it and said that he’s not goin to lose to the midget.

A super cute challenger named Kotobuki Seiko has appeared, and she’s crazy for the midget, it was love at first sight. At the end of the episode, the super cute girl kissed wee-man and asks him to go out with her, of course, friendship is first. Anyhow, he accepted. Risa wasn’t especting this. Nobody, indeed.

now that’s some awesome TRAP

She/he/whatever wasn’t really a girl but an epic trap (holy sh*t!), more than frightening, this revelation turns into a cheer up for Risa, who was always thinking about height as a problem to find a boyfriend, but seeing this ‘guy’ trying to gain Otani’s heart so hard, not really caring about what is weird and what is not, she’s now more comfortable with the idea of liking Otani. (By the way, Risa’s Now 1.72, imagine the drama)
